Located inside the Manasagangothri campus, University of Mysore Built during Centenary Celebrations of University of Mysore. Near to this place, canteen, library and cricket stadium, playground are situated. Aakashavani fm by All India Radio will played every evening for stipulated time through this clock tower. It is one of the major spot of identification inside University of Mysore. Manasagangotri now has a new landmark – a 70-feet clock tower, the hourly chimes of which resemble those of the Big Ben in London. Constructed in front of the canteen in Manasagangotri, the seat of higher learning in Mysuru, as part of the centenary celebrations of University of Mysore, the clock tower became functional two days ago after specially-made clocks by the State-owned HMT were installed on the four sides of the tower.

A famous landmark within the university just opposite to Round canteen and Stadium.

It was built during the centenary celebrations of the university.

Nice place to visit within the university.

It is near the playground Karnataka State Open University. Quite place. Good place for relaxing and evening walking .
