We visited this place for dinner on a Sunday evening, the place was not crowded at all.

Food - Tried a couple things:
• Kohlapuri Chicken Masala
• Yellow Dal Tadka
• Tava Fish
• Vada Pav
Though every dish was really good but Chicken Masala and Dal were lip smacking. Overall everything was towards the spicier end.
Solkadhi was quite revitalising.

Ambience - Quite spacious and decent enjoyable ambience

Definitely a go to place for spicy Maharashtra food.

We visited this place on holiday, there was less staff but still we were provided good service, slow service but good service.

We ordered:
1 - Puranpoli - It was good.
2 - Modak - We were lucky enough to get modak as it was Ganesh Chaturthi that day, but the modak lacked fillings.

3 - Misal Pav - I've had Misal Pav in other places as well, but I like it here, they did justice to it.

4 - Ussal vati + Bhakri - It was tasty but I'll warn you, it is spicy ????.

5 - Kanda bhajji - This could have been more crispy, but the taste was nice

Overall a good experience.

I had heard a lot about this place from friends but had to try it for myself! Located on the busy roads of Sarjapur, this place is in a complex which is easy to miss if you're not navigating using maps.

Food: 5/5
Hospitality: 5/5
Ambiance: 4/5

They have a very simple setup yet tastefully decorated.

Coming to the food:
Vada Pav - We started with this and oh boy, was the Vada thick! You have two of them and I promise you're done for dinner. The vada was very flavorful and had the crunch to it. Haven't had Vada Pav this tasty anywhere else in Bangalore.

Misal Pav - This is such warm and comforting food. The Misal was amazing, make sure you add some lemon to it and dunk the Pav all the way into it!

Kharda Chicken Sukha - This was a very unique dish. The chicken was marinated and cooked in green chilli paste (Kharda) which gives it the spicy flavor. It's slightly hot but every bite of it was amazing. Right out of the park!

Malvani Prawns Sukha Masala - This dish took stole the show single handedly! It was spicy, tangy, juicy, and rich. This was so great that I had it for starters and then again for the main course. If you're a seafood lover, DO NOT MISS THIS!

Pomphret and Seer Fish fry - Both these were basically Suji/Rava/Semolina coated fish that was fried to a golden brown color. The best part was while they were really softy and juicy on the inside, they were pretty crunchy on the outside.

For the main course, we had the Mutton Handi with Bhakri which was an amazing combination. The mutton was amazingly flavorful and cooked to perfection. It was really soft. If you're a mutton fan, you can also try their Fried Mutton Thali which is again complete in itself.

We ended this splendid fare with some Shrikhand - which was thick and creamy. You wouldn't want to stop after a bite.

Puranpoli too is a must try! Loved the amount of jaggery filling it came with.

Loved how hospitable the staff was and how quick the service was. Thankfully that day the founder of the Suryawanshi chain was present at the restaurant and walked us through the culinary history of the dishes and the restaurant, which definitely added to the experience.
