A prominent statue in Bangalore. It was unveiled in 1919. The funds were raised by the residents of Bangalore's civil and military station (also known as the cantonment). The sculptor was Leonard Jennings.
It is a reminder of Bangalore's colonial heritage and the British contribution to it's history.
