What I heard from people and what I experienced is exactly the same. Yes exactly I am here to try out the dishes at Samutra Restaurant Halasuru Under the metro, The aroma of the food really makes you crave for the food. It’s very very tempting. But you literally need to wait for hours sometimes to get a place to sit on weekends, Taste of food is really yummy, must try the Garlic chicken, Kottu Parota, chicken Biryani and Chicken fry, chicken pepper dry best and the dry dishes, you will definitely feel like heaven, Reasonably priced when you compare to competitors, Serving style was unique, as they serve it in banana leaf and the biryani will come in the banana leaf too.
I highly recommend to try this place once atleast,

Good place to dine out if one wants to have Tamil Nadu style of food. Though it’s too expensive (a single piece parotta costs 30rs), the food/taste which matters the most is exceptional. Staff was very friendly and good to help based on our need. Must try on the menu are Kothu Parotta, egg kalki, Boti Fry and chicken pepper dry.

Overpriced.. pathetic food.. low quality ingredients used such as rice and other stuff.. they're trying to just justify making it spicy..fyi I love spicy and this place isn't even that spicy or even spicy good.. Biryanis are a no go at all neither are the tandoori or curry or fried items..
Only good thing is parota which isn't that great but for their standards.. it's alright. Order from Avanti instead... atleast it's mad spicy and tasty.
