Not so great as everyone says. That’s subjective though but still there are shops which are really attracts foodies a lot more than this and makes wonderful chutneys. This shop is too crowded in general. No place to even stand properly to enjoy the meal, forget about asking chutney for the second time to dip your idly into(even if you don’t like it). The chutney is very average. Yes the idly was good, very soft. Extra soft you can say. But that cannot be the TRP. There was only one kind of chutney. The first time I went there they directly said they were closed . I saw the time and reached there by 11.20am and they say they are open till 11.30. I found it very rude and arrogant. The second time I went purposefully around 6am and saw a long long queue. After having I understood for business also you need luck as the taste was really not that great. There is a shop off to that area and that tastes better than this. I am not sure what the craze on this. But any way I am giving two stars only for the super soft idlies. I am never going back again. Also, tried khara bath and Kesari bath. Kesari bath was good but khara bath was again very average.

Not a big hotel, but one gets tasty idling etc with a different kind of side dishes. If you want to feel the real taste, buy and eat in front of the shop, itself. No seating arrangement, no parking area. Bur the food is superb

Iyer Idli as most of them know about this delicious & tasty serving Idli chutney shop. As most of them had seen this famous idli shop on YouTube, Insta reels etc.

The history of this shop begins with selling idli batter at the initial stage by family. Later switched to the Idli shop. The shop is located in a small place in Vignan Nagar. Serving very limited items like Idli chutney, Kesri bath, Kara bath, Vade with very minimal price for the items. Their intention is to serve good quality tasty food with very limited items. So customers will look for the quality and the taste and this shop has maintained the same from the beginning .

They don't add any east or baking soda for batter. The shop sells more than 50k idlis in a month. This Idli shop started in 2001. With 1 idli price of Rs 1.50 paise and now per idli Rs. 13/-.

When I visited in the morning there was Que to the Idli shop. Sometimes there will be a Que you have to stand to get the delicious idlis. You can feel the aroma of coconut chutney with very smooth idli.

This is a must visit Idli shop if you are an idli lover. As the place is very small, there is no stand table or sitting facility to eat. One has to stand outside to eat. Or they give parcels as well with extra parcel charges.
