Hesaraghatta lake is a nice and short get away from city.

It is a huge lake and you can take a walk on the tank bund which gives a very nice birds eye view. Before it was allowed to go till the lake but recently fences are erected to block access by BWSSB. However people are still going till the lake bank by sneaking in through the fences.
At the center of the tank bund there is a small temple.
You can spend about 1 -2 hrs here as there is nothing much to do unless you want to sneak through the fence and reach the lake bank.
Parking : You can park out side the BWSSB guest house and then take a walk till the tank bund or you can also approach from the other side.
