This place is well known as Big Banyan tree and to preserve this tree they have created a garden around it.
It is a very small garden with a walkable track of around 400 meters and around 10-12 seating benches. You cannot go out from the dedicated walkable pathway.
There is one temple within the premises and pay and use washroom facility is available. Since the tree is not dense enough and close to a street one might not feel much away or peace around it.
This place actually deserves 3 star but 1 star extra for all those people who helped in preserving and maintaining this natural beauty.

A quick drive from Bangalore, this natural wonder is a must visit for nature enthusiasts . Well it's not much different from other nature parks but just that this one contains a full family of Baniyan trees originated from a single tree which is 400 years old. Park has free entry but they charge for toilet usage. Path ways are well laid and there are multiple benches to sit and soak in the beauty and might of this entire place. Efforts of forest department in rejuvenating the tree complex and nurturing the new roots is well appreciated. Park also provides nice information on Ficus /Banyan tree species and the variety of wildlife it supports.

It used to be a calm place ages back.. not a major central portion of the tree has fallen due to age.. it's still a beautiful park like feeling...
A lot of monkeys , so be careful about your belongings and food.
There are benches inside where you can sit.
Parking is on the road.
