Okay before getting to the review, might not be your go to place but definitely worth a try!
What we went for was food! And it was delicious. I heard about this place a lot by the locals for its 'mutton bhat', the quantity of food was fulfilling. This hotel serves their customers from timings 12 o'clock to 3 or 3:30 pm. There is crowd daily for the delicacy they serve.
They give rice, mutton, papad, and chutney. Everything tastes amazing and definitely worth the money which is 145/- per plate.
We loved the attentive service of this place, who refilled your bowls whenever needed. They also have fish and rice. The food is served in leave sewed together as a plate - (patal locally)
The place is clean and the atmosphere is also friendly enough to sit and enjoy your food.
Also lastly the food was served within no time, the line is only for the seat and then you are good to go.

Having Heard about this Special Mutton-Rice Hotel
I gave this place a try.
This place is good for lunch.
The place is kind of a very normal eating place like that of road side dhaba.
Only mutton rice is provided with no other option. Maybe fish is also provided about which I am unaware.
This place remains crowded most of the time and you will have to wait for the people to finish their food to have a seat.

About the food.
The taste of the mutton is great.
The eating plates used here are completely traditional and that is what we call 'PATTAL' OR 'PATRI'.
The service is prompt.
Salad and chutney is provided.

Sarna Hotel is in Ranchi Ring Road/ Highway. It is a must try for food lovers. They offer mutton-rice, fish-rice, with some fries, chutney, salad in desi pattal (leaf plates), which makes the taste more authentic. This place is made in some desi style sitting, no ac, but have coolers, fan, and as it is made on mud floor, place was cool. Also, this place was neat and clean, so yes you are eating at hygienic place.
