Patratu valley is a beautiful valley with wide scenic roads that are very well maintained. They look beautiful in daylight as well as at night time when the radium lit road looks amazing. The roads look beautiful from a drone shot. We didn't have a drone so couldn't take a picture. But nonetheless, the drive looked great. There a dam too, which looked nice blue with lots of boats. We did that too. There is an island to which the boat takes. We went to the island, it is a bit pricey, and i would recommend not booking a motor boat to the island because it is not worth the money. There isn't anything there just, a building structure. Riding on the motor boat was more fun than being on the island. So i would say, instead of going to the island, take 2 boat rides!

Great place to roam here with kids, family or friends. Extremely scenic twisting road, soothing sunset from top view point will definitely pleased you. Later you can go for boat ride at lake. Road condition is great. We've visited at monsoon season, for which scenery was much greenery.

Visited this place on a fine sunny winter morning. A big lake in the middle of small hills with nice views.
The road to this place from Ranchi was beautiful with nice curvy roads with great views. A must visit for people residing in the area especially during winter or spring time.
A number of camping spots and resorts are available by the lake. Various spring sporting and boating activities are also available in the lake. Entry to the gardens cost is 20rs. Boating is a bit expensive but worth it.
