Hotel position not so good, but very near to Shimla Railway station - just 1 km. Hotel staff and owner are very friendly. One of them namely NIKKA RAM is a very good human being just like your FAMILY MEMBER, he also arrange car on rent and food from a Dhaba. I also took that food.
I suggest if you go for Simla by toy train you must try for ANNADALE VIEW

I wouldn't recommend someone who doesn't have their own vehicle, even if you have your own vehicle, driving to the location is a pain, specially for two wheeler as it has stiff inclined roads.

If you're walking there then thats a very painful task , the mall road and other markets are far also, you need to climb lots of stairs and up hill roads for the main road it self.
If you're coming with friends then its manageable but i wouldn't recommend for family without any personal vehicle and good driving skills.

Room is nice and view from room window is also good but location is a pain.

The rooms and facilities are really good. I especially loved the view from the room. The manager is also very helpful and kind and always there to assist us. The amenities provided in the hotel were really noteworthy and I must say they take care of the rooms. It's not like a commercial hotel. It's more like an Airbnb. Although the only negative thing about the hotel is the location. It's slightly down from the main road/victory tunnel and it takes almost 10min steep climb to reach the road from the hotel. So, if you are coming with children and elderly people, I won't recommend it. Otherwise, you can come and stay there. It's a really nice and clean property.
