Amazing to visit HIMACHAL specially Shimla. You will get a 4 lane connectivity from Chandigarh and have a safe road. Try not to travel on weekends as it may be too crowded or traffic is too high on roads that it take 2-3hrs extra to reach

This is the Official Border between Haryana and Himachal Pradesh. After crossing the Border, one can park his vehicle to the side and pull out his/her camera for taking some great pics as the views will definitely not disappoint you. However it is highly advisable to be careful while crossing roads near this place as vehicles come at a ridiculously high speed.

We traveled from the South part of India,TAMILNADU. NORTH SOUTH CORIDER- JAMMU - KANYAKUMARI HIWAY!TOLL ROAD - till solan.LAST LPG FILLING STATION AT CHANDIGARH. HIMALAYAN EXPRESS WAY. Fantabulous start from the border.. After that u can find liquor shop, can purchase and take to top... Fog lights not allowed definitely you will be fined.
