Have been visiting since it opened Lovely place for a family outing and a fitting memorial for our Kargil Martyr ????.Nice walking trails, a kid play area, lovely boating and especially enjoyed the small Aquarium they've started.
The only disappointment was the so called Cafe.A total mess with dirty walls, plastic tables hardly anything to eat.The coffee was decent and so was the Maggi , though highly overpriced for such a poor set-up . The higher ups need to visit it themselves and make the place more tourist friendly.A person coming to spend a few hours here should be able to access reasonably priced food and drinks in a neat and clean ambience.

The entry fees is Rs.20.
One can just relax in the gazebo.
Aquarium is ordinary same like you get to see at most of the places.
Kargil war site is also for children.
Boating is decent.
So if you have children's with you then only plan this place or else it can be skipped.

Very nice park. Boating facility available. Aquarium zone with different type of beautiful and cute fishes. Very good location for photography and spend time with partner, friends or family. Cleaning maintained with proper dust bins available. Really very nice location with fountain. Parking facility also available. This park was named after a soldier name saurabh.
