Mata Mansa Devi is a Hindu temple dedicated to goddess Mansa Devi, a form of Shakti. Mansa Devi name itself denotes Mansa I.e wish and truly your every wish is fulfilled here. A very beautiful Temple which has got a large SAROVAR and is very peaceful. It has a very large SAROVAR with Lord Shiva PRATIMA in the SAROVAR as well as a very BIG BAJRANG BALI PRATIMA at the Temple. The Temple is near the Highway. It is situated at Palampur Dharmashala Road, Kangra, Himachal Pradesh. The temple is beautiful, accessible by slanted stairs and a whole prasaad market is present in the front of the temple. It is one of the prominent Shakti temples of North India involving 7 goddesses, namely Mata Mansa Devi, Naina Devi, Jawalamukhi, Chintpurni, Brajeshwari, Chamunda Devi and Jayanti Devi. Thousands of devotees visit the shrine from various parts of the country, and especially during the Navratra mela, this number rises to lakhs every day for the nine auspicious days. Special festivities are held during Navratras. Navratras are the most crowded times for the mandir. During Navratri the rush is very heavy and it takes many hours to be in queue for the Mata Darshan.
