super amazing location!!! It took us 5 hours while going up and 2 hours to reach back to manali, trek started from big water tank few minutes walk on road from DPS manali. As you go higher, your eyes open wider to the feast of massive snow peaks, green carpet of deodar trees, and many varieties of wild flowers. The view of khanpari tibba from the top is so enchanting that you feel like running right to the summit!! More than perfect place to pitch your tents with plenty of trees to collect wood to keep yourself warm.
We did it on 16 april 2023 and there was decent amount of snow at the top, not much on the way.

Bears!!!!
We stayed here for three nights and we found a lot of bear tracks and evidence of bear prey ,
On the third day, we spotted multiple bears 4 times in one day one during day and 3 times in the night, it was very dangerous and we couldn't sleep at night.
SO I RECOMMEND BRINGING BEAR SPRAY AND A CAMP FIRE IS A MUST. BEWARE OF THE BEARD DURING THE DAY ALSO WARNING FOR DAY HIKERS✨ other than that nice view and nice vibe of the place ????

Lama Dugh Trek is a short trek in the Old town of Manali having an easy-moderate difficulty level. The starting point is 5 minutes away from Old Manali or Hadimba Devi Temple. You can expect to reach the top in 4-5 hours. The views from the top will be a treat to your eyes.
