We visited manali in October 2022 in navaratra holidays.
Scenic views started in kullu manali road just after you crossing the bilaspur on the trip.
Manali is now very crowded and busy with tourism throughout the year.
We booked a hotel near hidimba temple road through online and STRONGLY not recommend to book hotels online as you have plenty options to stay in manali.
Just get your stay away from busy mall road so you will get nice view of hiamalayan mountains.
Get a good travel itinerary booked through hotel and visit vashishth ashram and also search for a treck of that beautiful waterfall just 1.5 km walking distance in mountains behind the ashram.
Do not visit to club house and other museums.
You can try some adventure soprts on supplimentry river of byas and in Solang valley.
You can visit byas river, green park, mall road and temples in and around center of manali bus stand.
There is a lush green and so peaceful park just near by the hidimba temple and one must visit to get good photographs in those woods.
Must visit madhi and rohtang la pass and if weather permitts try paragliding at Madhi. Come back to manali through Atal tunnel or visit some village in spiti valley on the route of Baralacha la pass.
I recommend to stay at outskirts of manali in a home stay and get delicious food of freshly grown vegetables by their own and visit local farm of apple and plum.
If you have extra day to stay at manali then
Try to explore manali on your own by asking locals for some waterfall track or for some local festival or wedding ceremony is happening nearby.
