There is no zero or negative rating on Google, this place deserves even lower. Group of local people have captured the main view point with a high rise platform and shamelessly ask for 200/- per person to step on to it if they want any view. When questioned, they shamelessly told that they have captured this place for 35 years, it is their shop, no government has ever questioned them, we can go and complaint anywhere. They are even willing to argue or rumble with tourists.
From this viewpoint, you can see mountains which you see the whole way while getting up to this point anyways and telescope is just a gimmick. All the guides and horsemen are in collusion. They charge everything at the start itself, for certain viewpoints, rides, horse and do not mention anything about 20/-, 10/- for some "panchayat tax" and 200/- for "Telescope Point", steep slope to get to rides and being forced to hire another horse due to fatigue.
This place is completely dependent on tourism but the way people dupe here and are rude, will not be a surprise when people start going to better places where tourists are respected and get their money's worth and time.
Avoid going to this point completely if you are in Shimla for leisure and not to haggle with corrupt people.

We cant capture any images of Himalayas as they are very far away, through telescope we can just view. we can find snacks, drinks etc at this place, need to walk more.

AT FIRST ONE PERSON GO & CHECK (AVOID FAMILY PACKAGES)

secondly, DONT GO APPLE GARDEN & TAMPU,,, only fraud & TIME WASTE,,, only DUST
