The grass which looked greener from the Pics shared was actually dark brown or black and only after reaching we started getting jolts and shocks as all of them were exaggerated. Much like many others we booked it from the edited Pics for a Family Holiday which turned a nightmare as soon as we reached the Facility.

Although we had paid advance for a 2 BHK, we were asked to pay the entire amount ( within minutes of arrival ) which no big Hotel does. This itself raised apprehensions. But we shelled out hoping to be looked after & served well.
It was not to be and as we started using the property & the amenities ( so called ) sooner the flaws were discovered ;
- Rooms were much smaller than they appeared on
photos. The 'Living Room' was merely 6 x 6 ft. and NO
Curtains as it was the Main Entry point to the Flat. It
was the smallest ever 2 BHK we have ever witnessed.
- They were not cleaned as we could see the garbage bins
stinking and overflowing.
- The age-old Microwave could not warm a cup of tea in
over 5 minutes whereas at Home its done in 30
seconds flat. When complained the Owner Gaurav
Chaudhry tried to teach us Physics theory on
'Magnetron' assuming us to be just Matriculated. The
Glass plate did not move although the illusionary
sound of the Motor did.
- There was 1 Kettle for the entire 2 BHK but there were
NO Sachets of Milk Powder, tea bags or Sugar. Such a
shame. The attendants had no clue - " Sirs se baat kar
lo " - He means talk to the owners sitting at their
Mansions.
- Can you believe there were NO Toileteries provided
in the Rooms - Soap, Toothpaste, etc.
- NO Room Cleaning as there was only one Caretaker
cum Attendant cum Sweeper cum Dish washer cum
Waiter, etc., etc.
- The apartment had limited Cutlery and it would take
hours to have them cleaned ( many a times we had to
do because of urgency ) and when requested for
additional Cutlery they would say they are not allowed
to take them out or bring more.
- There was NO Room heater provided despite requests
with temp. down to about 0 deg. in January.
- The LCD TV when switched on at night won't get
colored and it was learnt that it had to be
'recharged' with Cable Company with payment due.
- The Food Tarriff looked in line until we ordered to
see 1 Full Plate of any Dish is not good even for 2
Persons. We searched and found joints
around requesting them to deliver after paying a
delivery charge as the nearest one also was at a 2 KM
distance which at dark foggy night seemed far off.
We paid 22K for 2 nights which we were told by the residing Persons who got friendly later that usually it is 5k for a night, which came as another shocker.

Despite the Care taker young person being cooperative the Owners are remotely operating with no ears to grievance of the guests who come all the way for spending 1 or 2 nights for vacation and some peace & tranquility.

I guess we seldom complain as most of the Guests are here to
stay for max 2 or even 3 nights ( Kasauli does not demand more ) and because of this the Amenities never get improved although the attitude of Operators matter, which in this case is pathetic.

All would agree that many a times it is the mindset and attitude especially in the Hospitality sector than the Costs which matter. For example, the Toiletries and the Tea bags, etc. would cost a miniscule and are the least a Hotel/ Guest House would / should provide but these guys are only to make a quick buck without bothering about the consequences in the long run.

We are going beyond just complaining at the travel sites to make formal feedback shared with the Himachal Pradesh Government'

This was our best decision to book Willow woods and enjoy the best stay of KASAULI.
Mr. Rajendar is very genuine person . He is the owner and takes care of all the detailed needs of the guest. I have never experienced more better view than the view from this property.

Highly recommend. Best FOOD available. My family enjoyed the food with the view.

I realllly loved this property. The manager (Umesh) was so nice to us. He arranged 3 rooms according to our flexibility. One 2 bhk and third room from another 2 bhk flat. And view was soooo awesome from balcony and bathroom too. They arranged chair table in lawn for 8 people (party). Property was so Neat and clean. Food service was also very good. You can call anytime to order anything. The flats were also having kitchen with fridge and microwave oven. Rooms were fully air conditioned.
