When you go to a hill station, the food options are generally generic as is the taste. But evergreen cafe, run by a calm, polite and talented chef, is a gem that you'd want to visit again and again. The food is delicious and the menu is vast. Take your pick and be patient. For all good things come to those who wait. Till next time N :)

The food and service quality are just so-so. The price is 10-30 rupees more expensive than other cafes serving same food. And the people are not so good and not too bad. The view is just similar to other cafes.

And most importantly, one thing I really dissatisfied with it is it produces noisessssssssssss at night for allowing customers to play DJ music at night. The music is terrible.

Dharamkot is not a place for pub music. And even if people want to play music, they shouldn't play it in an open space, which means that it will disturb a lot of people nearby.

I guess many people come to dharamshala for meditation and something spiritual, and the loud music at night is not something expected here. The staff of the restaurant didn't stop it or ask people to turn the volume down, which is quite inconsiderate.

I complained to them twice because it really disturb my sleep. Their response is "we are closing soon, just for 1 night" and "you talk to the people playing music by your own". So, I did tell the person to turn the volume down and she did.

Actually, there are other people going to the cafe to complain. And tonight, I still heard some music now (not sure if it is from the cafe, but probably I guess)
