This is the place where Pandava used to rest after dawn in war in Mahabharat war .In the ancient times this place was situated on the banks of River Saraswati which gone in hibernation. Lord Krishna got the last rites of the dead bodies of warriors who died unnatural death in war so that their souls may rest in peace, known as Gatti in Hinduism. He also sermonised that who so ever will get the Gatti Puja performed for his relatives dying unnatural death the deceased will have his soul emancipated.
This tradition is being followed since then.
The visit is recorded by the priests in there books. There are different priests who cater to the requirement of there particular classes among Hindus.
This Tirath has an old temple of lord Kartik, where the visitors offer oil for wellbeing. There is also a Shiva's temple having five faces of lord Shiva on Shivling .This Shivling is made up of KASAUTI stone If you rub gold on this stone it will turn golden.Thr temple was build by Marathas during there reign in northern India and stone was brought from Nepal.
At present place seems to get clean, who so ever is maintaining or the local authorities or if there is any Samiti who is taking care of the place need to be focused on the cleanliness of the Mandir Parisar and specially The Kunds.

Very good temple ,very divine and clean areas place huge parking. But not have any good place for eating

Pehwa dham is great place to visit....it's a religious place.....I visit this place last 3day ago and we fully enjoy with my family ...
