Dynamite Angry Fried Chicken Bao @sultry.noodle

There are certain dishes that you'd find on innumerable menus but hardly anyone gets it right. Such dishes jostle me on a quest to find the best one available in Tricity.

I've been to Sultry innumerable times, blame it on my poor habit of being extremely confident about what's good on the menu that my total disregard for even asking for it leaves me oblivious to some incredible dishes. Yea, I'm working on changing that especially after I discovered this Bao!

I had nearly abandoned the painfully long quest for Open Faced Baos and decided to give it one last try at Sultry. Arriving at the table adorned with edible flowers, these generously stuffed Baos looked gorgeous, a flawless presentation. Biting through the sweet-ish soft pillowy Bao leads you to a perfectly fried vodka chicken, there's no residual oil and the crunch of the batter is faultless. The dynamite seasoning is aptly savoury spicy & doesn't veil other flavours. The Kafir Lime Mayo brings everything together with a tad bit of creaminess and fresh slightly acidic citrusy flavour of the Kafir Lime. There's nothing I could fault with this terrific Bao.

I would recommend these Baos at Sultry Noodle without batting an eyelid, my only suggestion would be to make a reservation before going, especially on weekends.

So now that the quest for Bao has reached a delightful conclusion, may I request recommendations about a Xiao Long Bao/XLB/Soupy Dimsum in Tricity..?

We had the double fried shittake, katsu chicken bao and khao suey, along with a passionfruit caipiroska and Moscow mule. The meal was absolutely divine and the drinks were well balanced and delicious. The ambience is very well done and next time I’m definitely going to enjoy the same at Sultry’s outdoor seating. This place is a smashing hit for me.

Loved the foood! Super delicious ???? Garlic bread is sooooo yummyyy???????? & more importantly the staff was so polite & sweet! Specially, sangeeta & sarita !Loved the ambiance & food!
