Chandigarh Bird sanctuary is amazing place to visit by Bird lovers and nature lovers in Chandigarh near Sukhna lake. It was inaugurated by Savita kovid, president's wife in November 2021. This is developed by forest and wildlife department. It is 6 acre big sanctuary. in some portions you can visit with ticket only. Some portions are free to roam around. Ticket for kids is Rs 30 and for adults Rs 50. There are 48 bird species and hundred of birds you might have never seen before. If you feel hungry during your visit you can have snacks at the coffee shop inside the park . There is also one souviner shop so that you can carry your memories along.

One of my favorite places to visit in free time. The atmosphere is calm and serene. There's a small pond where you can do boating. A small tuck shop to sit and have coffee and other eatables. A small Buddha statue along with a big prayer wheel. Ducks and rabit enclosures. Also a small walking path where you can have foot stone massage by walking on them. Best time to visit the place will be after 5-6 pm. The atmoshphere is just awesome at that time there are lights wrapped around the trees. The prayer wheel looking amazing in the lights and they used to serve the best Momo's but the quality has gown down recently. Overall a good place to spend time with family and loved ones.
