Many years ago it was a small temple in white colour. That's why it's local name is चिट्टी मंदरी(small white temple). Then the pond was very lage.
Now the temple is large and the pond is very small.

This temple is very beautiful. The walls are covered from floor to ceiling in beautiful sculptures from hindu mythology. Stories from mythology have been visually showcased through paintings, murals and sculptures. The temple is a treat to the eyes.
