Really lived the food at appumm house, tried masala dosa meal, became a super fan of their butter milk. Sambar and chutnies were also delicious. Dosa had very mild spice so it was good for us but incase u like too spicy ask for it.

Presentation was good but highly pathetic food. They don't serve fresh food. Idly and Vada was served with making hot in the microwave. The presentation is good but the food quality is very bad. My stomach got upset. Nariyal chatny was sour. Sambar's taste also got pungent, seems they prepared it in the early morning hours and kept boiling it since then. Malabar paratha also served Stale and cooked earlier. It looked like it was frozen and served just making it hot.
Food was Stale, no longer fresh or good to eat.
Only vegetable served with Appumm was little good in taste

Superb coastal food. Had Mangalorean Prawns Gassi with Appam, Malabar Paratha, Pepper Rasam, Filter Coffee. Very tasty, fresh & flavorful gravy, the prawns were fresh. Loved the soft & fluffy appam, and the soft & flaky layered Malabar paratha.
