Just mediocre food. The pesto sandwich was not good, and the coffee was decent. Maybe i went in with high expectations ????

It's a small renovated outlet after the covid lock down break.
But always one of my favourites due the quality n taste of food.
Seating space is limited but the place has good vibes.

I love cest la Vie restaurant chain but this isn't the standard I am used too!! I've been 3 times and those 3 the food has been low standard.
This time I tried the carbonara pasta. There was no taste!!! Sauce was over thick and bacon was large pieces and hard. Had to cut the bacon up and even the bacon didn't have a taste. Garlic bread also no flavour.! There was nothing Italian about it!!
Also I think the standard of staff is little less than the usual restaurants good staff!
