Metro is a very good option for those going from Delhi to Mathura-Vrindavan, who want to avoid the crowd. From Delhi to Raja Nahar Singh Metro Station which is Ballabhagarh, then you can take bus for Mathura-Vrindavan from below the metro station itself. This route is best for coming from Mathura-Vrindavan. From Mathura-Vrindavan come to ballabhagarh, then from where the bus will drop, there is Raja Nahar Singh Metro station. If there is reservation in train then it is right to go from Delhi to Mathura by train. But if there is no reservation in the train, then going from Delhi to Mathura by train can prove to be a very troublesome journey.

The Raja Nahar Singh metro station (previously known as Ballabhgarh metro station) is terminating station on the Violet Line of the Delhi Metro.

As part of Phase III of the extension of Delhi Metro, Raja Nahar Singh is the extension of Violet Line. It was opened on 19 Nov. 2018.
