The institution was started with an idea of providing an opportunity to study pharmacy in Charotar area, but now it has students from all over Gujrat. From the year 2010 M.Pharm course was started in Pharmaceutical Analysis with an aim of providing research orientated professional education to meet the ever-changing demands of the industry and academics.

Dr. Chhotubhai L. Patel, formely an Executive Engineer in Gujrat Electricity Bord, succeeded shri H.M Patel as the Chairman of Charutar Vidya Mandal in 1944. Dr. C.L. Patel, a man with midas touch, realised the need of to today's fiercely competitive world and established New Vallabh Vidyanagar to set up new educational inststitutes. It is a mushrooming satelite towership about 5 k.m from Vallabh Vidyanagar spreading over one hundread acers of land near Karamsad , Mogri and Gana

The course of study of B.Pharm will include the theory and practical subjects.
Internal assessment:
Three Mid sem examinations shall be conducted during the academic year by the college. The marks of examinations, separately for theory and practical shall be computed for the declaration of Results.
Attendance:

The candidates are normally expected to attend all allotted work period (both theory and practicals) in each of the prescribed subject. They should attend 80% of the total number of classes conducted in each of the subject to be eligible to appear for the mid-sem and university examination in that subject.

Best place to learn,live and grow. This place hase good infrastructure, instruments,teachers and what all a child need for growth and development. You will surely learn one new thing daily here. To take addmission here criteria is you must 50 plus percentage in your 12th grade and science stream (can be pcb or pcm) it do have hostel facilities in campus.
