Pav bhaji at just 100/

Place: Ganesh pavbhaji, near KK tea stall, Ambawadi

*So, basically, the Portuguese got us the most important ingredient needed to make pav bhaji, namely, the pav! Pav gets its name from one quarter in a section of four, which is how the bun is usually baked.

So, when the American Civil War was going on, the British didn't have a stable supply of cotton because of the disruption in America. Hence, they came to India looking for it. The mills started getting huge orders and the workers would often have to work late into the night. And to keep the workers fed, vendors would be found outside these mills selling plates of pav bhaji.

The bhaji was essentially made from leftover vegetables and cooked with tomatoes and potatoes. As the number of mills grew, they started spreading across Mumbai and well, the pav bhaji became not just a street food item but the friend who kept the workers company late into the night.

Very Good quality food at economical cost.

Bhaji Pav and Pulao are really very tasty and most famous.
Masala pav must try.

South Indian options are very good. Their coconut chutney is the best. Paper dhosa is very delicious and tasty.

Even Chinese food is also delicious. Noodles are thick compared to other such restaurant. Paneer of paneer chilly dry is very soft and authentic Chinese food taste.

Good option for Jain food. Ask for Jain salad with bhaji pav to get tomatoes and cabbage salad.

Another good thing is they are preparing food with light Salt, so if you are not eating salty food then this is the best place.
And you can always add more Salt if required.

We have enjoyed dinner for several times and everytime the quality and quantity are best.

AC seating is available and outside seating also available.

Owner Indra bhai is very polite and staff is very good and supportive and quick in service.
