Service Apartment in Makarba by Hospitality

The older reviews for this place is not applicable anymore as this location cant be rented out as service apartments anymore due to some restrictions from the society. I made the booking for this location months in advance and was informed the day before the booking that i can't stay there for the above mentioned reasons. I was shown a different location(Vishal Tower in Prahladnagar) on arrival, which i had to opt for even though i didn't like it as much as the first location. Vishal Tower is a very old building. The apartment has decent room size, but the furniture in every room was really dirty as if it wasn't used for months, almost abandoned and NOT well maintained at all. The floors and bathrooms were cleaned by the maid every day. Bathrooms were really outdated, I had no other stay option, so i stayed. Bathrooms were really dirty, with leakage in every fixture. I had to call multiple times to get it fixed, but besides a new shower head, the leakage persisted. Ajinkya is a good person to deal with during the booking and in general, but when it comes to money, he will make up new rules on the fly and will try to charge more during checkout. The food was decent. The kitchen was below average in terms of cleanliness. They promised bedsheets and towels to be changed every 3 days, but i had to keep reminding the guy who lived on site to do that. Even then, it would not be done until the 4th or 5th day. The towels they provide are really cheap quality and sheds fabric on every use. One of the white towels was almost yellow. The utensils look really old and dirty. They are cleaned before each use, but the dishes and cups are really, really old. Upon pointing out all these to the remson employee who stayed at the property to provide the service, he would simply say that Ajinkya (the manager) and Rajesh(the owner) told him to make use of whatever eas provided or left by the old owners who stayed at the property before the booking was given to me. Didn't feel like i was staying at the serviced apartment. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. The owner, Rajesh Khatri, has a bad attitude. Talking to him will ruin your mood. This place also needs an exterminator to take care of roaches. Take your business elsewhere for a peaceful stay while you are in Ahmedabad.
If you still decide to book after this review, make sure what's included with your package. Depending on the day you talk to them, there is something additional nuance about the package, which will get you to pay more.

The stay was very comforting. Place is very clean and the food prepared by cook was also nice. Location is good. Staff and housekeeper are very polite. Overall a very nice experience. Keep up the good work Remsons!!

This is an excellent apartment with fabulous customer service.
The room was nice decent clean and comfortable. The property manager was very helpful. Infact all the staff is very friendly and helpful. 100% Recommended for Company Officials.
