The staff is fantastic--welcoming, helpful, and competent. With their fashion sense and knowledge about the collections, they provide excellent assistance to help your selection process once they know your preferences. Great home service too! I live in a warm climate and was absolutely delighted to find exceptional quality and weather appropriate cotton tops, Kurtis as well as special occasion wear. Recommend highly!

Unreliable material and terrible customer service

I had a shockingly unpleasant experience at Ritukumar, Ahmedabad ISCON store. I bought a dress for RS 9000. The sleeve tore on its own within a few hours of my wearing it as the material, which was old silk unraveled. It did not tear in the process of putting it on or taking it off. It was a horizontal tear, underscoring poor fabric. The store refused exchange on the ground that it was a tight fit. Mind you, it was altered and fitted on me by the store tailor. I was asked to visit the store. The store manager and owner walked in two hours after the store opened, as that is their common practice. She escalated to the next level, who walked in still an hour later. Further escalation and wait time of four hours for decision. Soon, they decided not to exchange. The franchise owner- Meghna Divetia was unhelpful and said the tearing was nobody's fault! She was extremely discourteous. It is an unprofessional, inefficiently run store, which caused me an avoidable loss.
I live in New York. I have worn many brands both big and boutiques. I have never ever experienced a dress simply unraveling. There is no way a Kate Spade, Michael Korrs or Gucci would just unravel. My issue is with quality, lack of customer service, and reliability of the brand. I do not care about the money that I have wasted, but it does sadden me that a prominent Indian designer label is so poorly managed.

Meghna ben and her team are absolutely amazing people! Traditional wear like lehengas and sets are really beautiful and elegant and above that the team at the store is very kind and extremely helpful! Worth buying experience. Lovely lovely experience overall!
