I was glad to see the Gandhiji's ashram. The place is so peaceful when you visit. I could actually feel the struggle of their time, the hardwork, the way the houses were built, the way they used to farm, the way Gandhiji used to make the cotton all were very interesting. The place is kept clean. One could also get to see the history of Gandhiji's time. Good place for specially children to gain their knowledge, also for all ages if one is interested in history. Overall the best place I visited in Ahmedabad.

Very peaceful place where Mahatma Gandhi lived. All historic evidence are available. A must visit place in Ahmedabad.
