Built in 1956 by the CPWD, Vigyan Bhawan still remains one of the premier venues for the Government of India to launch events, give out prizes etc.
The air conditioning is superb and there are multiple restrooms and elevators.
One can enter only if one is invited to an event. Security these days is very tight wherein water bottles are not allowed inside the main building & even food items are confiscated.
Apart from being a venue for events, it contains a lot of art works from various parts of India, checking them out is a pleasure as they're mostly well lighted and maintained.
Cars can be parked outside the building as well as on Janpath.

I went here a few days ago , as I was invited to an event from the National Service Scheme. The event was so good, politicians and famous personalities were there like Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Ceo of oyo , ministers of various fields, RJ Raunac and Rishabh Shetty. After that we had lunch, the food was great but there was so much of crowd near the stalls.

It is vigyaan bhawan, situated on Maulana Azad marg,
Very spacious auditorium and many meeting hall are available here, dining facilities are also available here.food quality are good.veg and non veg food available here subject to demand by organiser.
Inside and outside are very beautiful.must come and see, specially night lighting are very beautiful.
