We went there for Sunday breakfast. Pleasant experience. My score 8/10. Choley, pickles were good but bhatura fell below expectations. My preference is kadak, crunchy, crispy hot bhaturas.. these were precooked, more like kulchas filled with paneer. Heavy … off course. Choley bhature is heavy and something I venture out to eat once in 8 months.

Best chole bhature I have ever had, ever since childhood i was fascinated about the chole bhature we get in delhi. Came all the way from Maharashtra to eat them and they were worth every penny! The owners are humble. The taste is superb. The achars they serve with the dish were lip-smacking.

This shop is pretty famous for serving some of the best chole bhature in Delhi. And if it’s the best chole bhature in Delhi, they’re probably the best, period. They top their chole with spicy potatoes and mint chutney; they are rich and perfectly spiced. Very very good.
The bhature aren’t fresh out of the oil. I’m sure they’re generally fresh, considering the massive turnover of food, but they make them in batches, and toast them on a dry pan before serving. This gives them a pretty unique texture. They’re fluffy, soft, and bready. If you’re someone who likes a crisp bhature or the huge ballon kind which crackle and shatter, you’re not gonna like this. I found them inoffensive. The sides you get with your meal could be seasonal; we got onions and a green chilli pickle. Both were great. Washed it down with some sweet lassi, which was pretty standard stuff, but did the job.
This place is never not crowded, so you’re going to have to join a queue to get your food. But they’re well staffed and accustomed to the rush. We went for lunch on a Sunday, and got our food in under 10 minutes. There are no chairs. You stand, you eat, you get out.
If you’re taking the metro, get off at RK Ashram Marg on the blue line; it’s a five minute walk.
