During my first try, I ordered two different kinds of parathas: aloo paratha and double egg paratha. The aloo paratha was decent, but unfortunately, the double egg paratha didn't meet my expectations and left me feeling disappointed. Still, I remained hopeful for my next order.

On my second order, I decided to try their Indian chai. I was surprised by the high cost of 55 rupees for a cup of tea. I also noticed that their parathas were more expensive compared to other places. It was disappointing that their parathas carried a higher price tag without consistently delivering top-quality taste in both of my orders.

Unfortunately, the quality of the chai was equally disappointing. It was poorly prepared and not even warm due to inadequate packaging. I found it confusing that they charged so much for packaging, yet the chai wasn't packed in a way to keep it warm for consumption. This was disappointing, especially considering the extra packaging fee.

When I shared my concerns with the restaurant, I was met with rudeness and unhelpfulness. The person I spoke to shifted the responsibility to the delivery platform, suggesting I take my complaint to Swiggy. This made me even more frustrated. Their lack of accountability and customer focus showed a concerning aspect of their customer service.

This experience highlighted the importance of being honest, taking responsibility, and treating customers with respect in any service-based business. While everyone understands that mistakes can happen, how these mistakes are handled is what truly matters. The rudeness I encountered not only impacted my view of the restaurant but also showed a lack of professionalism and understanding.

My visits to No. 1 Uncle's Parantha had both positive and negative aspects. While the aloo paratha was good, the disappointing double egg paratha, low-quality chai, and inconsistent paratha quality in later visits made me wonder if their offerings were worth the cost. The unsatisfactory customer service response further dampened my impression, emphasizing the need for respectful and attentive customer service in the food business.

So, do I recommend it? No, there are better alternatives available.

We tried multiple parathas here (aloo, paneer+pyaz, paneer+gobi, mirchi+garlic). Taste was good but stuffing inside the paratha seemed too salty. Staff were good to interact and the restaurant is open from 7.30 am till late night which is good.

Must try aloo pyaz and mix parantha. Raita wasn't too fresh. 2 parantha are more than enough for one person. Size of parantha is big enough. Curd chutney increases the taste manifold.
