If you are into Philately then this is a must visit place for you. You can go to the museum which is on the left side of the gate and check the different stamps that were released from time to time. Not much crowded. No ticket to visit. You can buy stamps as souvenir ( only issue they don't accept card or UPI for payment , if you purchase anything from there )

Must visit for all philatelist. Has an exhaustive exhibition on all things with regards to stamp plus you can purchase first day covers and many stamps for sale. A little of the beaten path but can easily be found through Google maps. One of the highlights of my Delhi trip.

National Philatelic Museum is located at Dak Bhawan, New Delhi. All the postal stamps issued by the Department of Posts are displayed here. Amazing collection of all the postal stamps could be seen here. One can trace the development of Philatelics at this museum. This place is a heaven for all the Philatelic lovers. Newer issuances of the postal stamps could be seen and bought at the Philatelic section of the Head Post Office Parliament Street.
