Lodi Gardens is a heritage property, under the ASI. As the name suggests, this 90 acres of tranquility, is a well manicured city park situated in New Delhi. The place hosts the amazing, architectural marvels of the 15th century by the Lodhi Dynasty who ruled parts of northern India and Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of modern-day Pakistan, from 1451 to 1526. Besides, acres of greenery, a butterfly park, fountains, walking and jogging tracks, a lake with scores of fish and water birds and flocks of other rare birds, Lodhi Gardens also contains the tomb of Mohammed Shah, the Tomb of Sikandar Lodhi, the Shisha Gumbad and the Bara Gumbad. It is a far from the madding crowd type of place to be in, ideal for morning and evening walks or just a blissful experience.

This is the best park in New Delhi, be it for a walk, jogging, the children to play around, etc, etc. There is ample car parking space all around the park & the Moghul era monuments in the middle of the park are amazing and very educative. Great to visit all around the year. A must visit !!!
