This place is very well organized and well maintained. This place gets crowded during weekends. This place is situated just a stone throw away from Kashmiri Gate metro station. In fact a wall was built by Aurangzeb to protect the red fort from attackers and this was a gate/ door in that wall. Wonderful place lots of places connected by this point.

I visit Kashmiri Gate as part of Heritage Walk organized by INTACH. The place has historical significance owing to it being the center for revolt of 1857. Kashmiri Gate, St. James Church, Dara Shikoh Library situated inside Dr B.R.Ambedkar University, Telegram Obelisk, The Megazine almost entire area of Kashmiri Gate is burning point of the revolt. Nice experience to know more about the history of 1857 revolt. Most of the places on road are not properly protected and must be restored well.

Good Place but aware of rickshaw Wale as they demand high money, as I was there just for 3 km they demanded 300 , so Keep check in Maps , and take Ola if possible, , secondly Kashmiri Metro station is nearby just 1.5 km from Kashmir Gate , so prefer going there by walk.
In Delhi Metro is best convenient way to tour , as it Reachable to every place
