Intachs work in the water sector is extremely poor,
They failed to properly revive Hauz Khas lake and then suggested to DDA that they add bacteria to the lake to clean it, in reality this just polluted the lake more and wasted crores of public money.
They have also suggested adding bacteria to rivers and drains at extremely high costs, adding bacteria to lakes and rivers only pollutes them more, this is an example of gross incompetence from an unqualified NGO that has failed at its every attempt to improve lakes or rivers and yet for some reason is considered an expert by government agencies.
Unqualified NGOS with a track record of failure should not work on India's water especially when they waste crores of public money through their gross incompetence.
