Honestly, what a letdown. I’m very surprised that people say nice things about this hotel because it’s really not a 5 star experience at all. Perhaps because it’s old, the rooms look so old and sort of shabby. Very boring interiors and personally, I got a dirty bedspread. The breakfast spread was very unworthy of 5 stars. Had a horrible croissant and soy milk cold coffee. I asked for some coffee powder to mix with it because I needed to wake up and instead they brought me more of the same sugary, weak soy milk thing. I hate soy milk- literally any milk is better in my opinion. My sister wanted to use the pool but it only opens from 7 AM to 7 PM- in this heat? Really? I wish I wasn’t very busy that weekend otherwise I would’ve given my feedback to them face to face. Have nothing good to say. Total waste. Don’t recommend it to anyone.

Basic courtesy missing among the staff; they don't even bother to smile, forget about creating any personal relationship with the guests. Rooms need upkeep and proper maintenance. Even the door lock needed to be jerked opened after tapping the key card. Flush system was not working properly. Didn't seem like a 5 star rated property at all. The only good things were food and size of the room.

We chose The Lalit for buffet dinner to celebrate our SILVER ANNIVERSARY. A special area was reserved for us and it was specially decorated. We were warmly greeted and were served in a pleasing manner. The ambience was superb and quality of food was excellent. We really enjoyed and we are planning to visit again. One can plan any celebrations here and the staff will definitely extend all hospitality.
