Everything we ordered was just ok. Would have given their food another star but we went to eat Dabeli which isn't available in any place across Patna. However, we were not only disappointed but actually felt sad about the fact that in the name of Dabeli, someone is serving something which at best can not even be called a bad "Vadapav". It was simple "Aalu Chokha" with some Sev & Peanuts filled in Pav, not even close to what an actually Dabeli is.
We ordered Manchow Soup and Alfredo Pasta, both with Chicken. The soup had more than enough veggies and the taste was better than many other places. However, they forgot to serve the chow (fried noodles) with the soup. They served it after reminder but we were 80% finished with our soup by then.
The pasta, although the ingredients were right, it was too heavy due to the use of Maida/Corn Flour to thicken the gravy, and over use of butter. That can also be due to the demand of their regular customers as many people like their pasta made heavy with Butter and with thick sauce in quantity.
When it comes to service, it was bad. We had to get up multiple times to place our order in a very congested space, which not only had 3 tables as well as their billing counter as well as a hand wash basin along with a refrigerator with their ingredients in plain view inside it (glass front) but also the person taking the order was not at all attentive. Lack of space can't and shouldn't be an excuse for bad service.
Although they have tried their best to design and build the ambience in the small space they have but lack of service, cleanliness, congested area and the likes make it all vanish.
If only they had better service, and actually served the right DABELI, it would have been a far better place.
