Sanjay Gandhi Botanical and Zoological Garden is located on bailey road, Patna. The park is Patna's most frequented picnic spot and has 70 Animals, 35 species of fish and 5 species of snakes. It's a good place to visit with your friends and family. The only problem which is still there is that it doesn't have nearby stalls apart from the centre one which is located near the lake and they don't sell mineral or packaged water only water cooler is available. Rest everything is up to the standards of the zoological park and lastly, it has a boating lake.

Love the place, the vibe, location, greenery, eating options(a bit expensive inside the zoo). However the animals need more care, not all of them are in best condition.
Still a nice place for picnic, family outing or even a date with your partner!
You can even try a solo visit, trust me it's amazing.
Don't miss the Aquarium (closes 5:30PM) (need to pay extra 10rs), it is near Gate No. 2.
You can take your bag inside with you, there's no checking generally of the items, so you can take tripod, camera and other stuff if you wish and capture some nice photos.
Tip: Don't miss the Royal Bengal Tiger ????

????A weekend getaway place in Patna. Good place for kids as they enjoy. Their are ample of space. But only thing is animals are not well feeded. It feels like they are not getting proper food and service. Tiger and lion were looking very weak and thin. The authority should take care of it more properly. Infrastructure has improved a lot compared to my last visit was long years back

It feels like they are not getting proper food and service. Tiger and lion were looking very weak and thin. The authority should take care of it more properly. Infrastructure has improved a lot compared to my last visit from long years back.
I suggest the Bihar Government to import more animals from different States.
