I loved this place . This is a museum that reflects the personal life of former Chief Minister of Bihar, Shri Karpoori Thakur ji. Serene and elegant building offers a glimpse in to simplicity and humility of Karpoori Thakur, a people's leader. Well kept lawns and well maintained furniture/belongings of Karpoori Thakur are interesting to those who love to know about past era. It would be useful to add film shows or theatre activities/discussion on life and times of Karpoori Thakur to attract visitors. Orienting Museum staff to history will also be good idea to help them take up facilitative role. Moreover staff at the Museum should be encouraged to have a more welcoming attitude towards visitors...We were trying to glance through a book ob Karpoori Thakur placed on a table and we wanted to know if we can buy a copy. However one of the staff members literally snatched it from my hand and said visitors were not allowed to touch it. If it was so then the book should not have been kept as display...or should have been guarded. Perhaps the staff was new or not well informed and was hence defensive and rude. Nevertheless, this may dissuade people from visiting the place.
