One of the oldest and most known temples in Muzaffarpur, Baba Garibnath mandir attracts devotees from within and outside the town.
You ask anybody in the town and they can guide you.
The Lingam is surrounded with a circular grill, so you need to bend down a lot to touch the Lingam.
The area is very beautiful and devotion inspiring, has a old tree and multi-storied compund for Janeu and Satya Narayan Pooja etc.
It also has Goddess Durga, Goddess Saraswati, Radha Krishna etc.
If you visit here once, you'll feel like coming again and again.
Blessed to have been here.

Visit in the early morning during off days... You will get a chance to pray with sadhus/ monks.. They are a bit harsh. But keep aside these facts.. You will find peace and mantras . Keep your sandals, take prayer offering lotiya, flowers etc from outside temple... They will take some money after you return them... A lot of temples inside.. Rudraksha mandir on top is noticeable..

Most famous temple in the city. Over the years, it's became an identity of Muzaffarpur and it's history is traced back to 300 years or so. Built in a very congested and crowded area.....
