This is an awesome place. This place being located 5 minutes away by walk from the holy North flowing Ganges has 4 temples of which the Killa Durga temple is the most famous one. Even the name of this locality is named after the temple itself. This temple belongs to the ancient times and is very well known for having the biggest fare in town during Navratri and Dussehra. The place also used to witness Ravana wadh and Dahen few years back on the eve of Dussehra which is now stopped due to the fare growing bigger in recent times and also due to more civilisation and infrastructure development in recent times. The Durga temple also has a stage theatre opposite to the temple which was known to hosting Ramleela and other plays during Navratri time which has now lost importance and not happen with such pomp and show as it used to be few years back.
