The Chandrashekhar Singh Museum, Jamui is a functioning body under the Bihar Government (yac.bih.nic.in). This Museum has amazing and marvelous creation of the Indian civilization's culture. It contains the terracotta pieces along with the horns of different species of deer and a life size statue of lion which all was donated by the Giddhur Rajpariwar and of fort of Dabil, Jamui.
Then there contains a number of antiques of this particular place i.e., Of Jamui. It has statues of Uma Mahesh, Surya, Vishnu, Buddha in different poses , broken part of pillars and gateway and urushinga and yakshani which is the main center of attraction which all were excavated in this region. Those are of back dated from 1st BC to mediaeval period.
It's maintenance and presentation could be kept in little creative way so that it could attract to each and every stage for generation. Its arrangement is average but it's background is below average according to me.
Anyway whoever is a "History loving" type people and are interested in knowing about their roots, should plan their visit at once here.
