We arived at the hotel at late night after a very long ride form Lumbini, Nepal. We were very tired. We were expecting good hospitality because the reviews were good. But we got the opposite of that. We booked a tripple room but we got a room with two single beds and an extra "bed" that was a table with a very thin mattress. No one can ever sleep on it it was like sleeping on the ground. The bedsheets that were provided was filthy. There were various stains and hair strands on the bedsheets. We requested for new sheets and the provided some within 30 minutes. Their luggage handling was so poor they broke one of our suitcases. Though there was a large room named “restaurant” when we inquired about dinner they said that they do not serve food. We were so exhausted to go out and search for a place to eat so we had to sleep without any food. The only positive of this hotel is that their bathroom was spacious and clean in contrast to their room and there was hot water in a decent speed. In conclusion i can say that this is one of the worst hotels that i’ve ever been to. If anyone is planning to visit Bodhgaya consider booking somewhere else. We had to settle for this because every other place was booked because of the busy festival season.
