60 years into making tasty Litti Chokha, very homely. Starts selling at 5pm, only for 2 hours. A very small place and easy to find (ask anyone there). Conversations about the place and history with him are added benifits.

Bhola ji is famous for the best Litti Chokha in town. He is an aged fellow and have been pursuing this for generations. Litti Chokha is a traditional and authentic snack of Bihar. The outer shell of the ball is made from wheat flour, with stuffing of roasted sattu (chickpeas flour), lentils, onion, green chilly and then baked over charcoal. He sells it for Rs10 a piece. And you would be asking for a second and third serving for sure. He sits everyday from 5pm to 8pm right outside Jagannath Temple. He is a very knowledgeable and interesting person and would be willing to share stories too. Have a great time.
