Two stars for the rude receptionist. I took in my sister today because my dog scratched her. The receptionist said we could see a general medicine doctor and she got her shots. I always paid the doctor's fees in advance, everytime I came in with my mom for her checkup, but this time they did not take the fee in advance. After the shots were paid for in the hospital pharmacy and the prescription was handed over to me by the nurse, I left with my sister completely forgetting about the doctor's fee, as the receptionist never informed me about any kind of fee the whole time. Outside the hospital, I was standing with my sister near my vehicle talking about the pain in her hand from the shots, when a nurse came out and informed that I needed to pay the fee. I happily went in and paid the fee and as I was paying the fee the receptionist said that I was trying to get away and run, trying to avoid the fee. She indirectly called me a conman. I happily paid the doctors fee but gave her a good piece of my mind. While visiting a doctor many things run in the minds of the people and a receptioninst is meant to be cooperative (and cheerful if possible). Do not insult people just because you do not take the fee in advance. I was sitting near the receptionist counter the whole time and when my sister came out and met me near the receptionist, she could have asked me for the fee then too. The hospital lobby was practically empty and there was no one she was attending to then. Not everyone will take an insult gracefully.

Worst hospital ever. They don't even keep proper doctors for duty. One night when my father fell sick and have to take him to emergency room, the person who came as doctor was chewing gutka and upon asking questions about the patients condition was only shaking his head. Later I enquired and came to know that the person was not doctor but so called CHO or community health officer, better known as half doctor who does duty in the nursing home as resident doctor.
