This park is in a perfect location besides the Brahmaputra River, and facing the famous Peacock island (locally known as Umananda Island). You can enjoy sitting here with your girlfriend/group of friends or whatever really!???????? Cool breeze from the Brahmaputra river keeps blowing all day long and the sunset view is really amazing to see with your own eyes. I have been coming here since my college days and even now after nearly 15 odd years I love coming here and sit and recall fond memories. Entry fee is Rs. 20/- per person and bike parking costs Rs. 10/- extra. There are a lot of eateries/cafes/fast food nearby for you to eat and enjoy. Alfresco river cruise counter is around 50 metres away from this park. Guwahati Planetarium is very near and walking distance from this park. BEWARE: You will see couples getting all cheesy every now and then so visit with a free mind and as i would like to say JUDGE LESS LIVE AND LOVE MORE! Every grown man was once a young hunk and dated girls so take it in your stride and come to enjoy the scenery!

Small garden with a walking path laid along the Brahmaputra river bank. Can spend some quiet time in the evening looking at the picturesque sky over the river.

Disappointing. Place is not mantained, trash and dirt everywhere. Half of the park is closed. Half of the park was destroyed for the flyover construction site. Basically you‘ll be looking at trash, a construction site, concrete bags and a little bit of river and trees.
