Awesome experience. Everyone should visit here once in their lifetime with their family. The sky theater show was amazing. First time watching will be exciting but they show the same short movie about planets that they used to show 10 years ago. There should be a variety of shows/short movies so people can visit again and again. Also there seems to be some problem with the projector in the sky theater as the movie only covered half of dome-shaped projection screen. The VR show was superb. The astronomy gallery is knowledgeable. Photography inside is prohibited. There's cctv inside.

Amazing. Guwahati Planetarium is a center for astronomical education and research. The planetarium uses the Chronos star field projector, digital HD video projectors and the Dolby sky theater's sound system to put on shows of the night sky in the theater. This planetorim of Gauhati city is small and beautiful. Open daily from 11 am to 5 pm. There are total 4 shows per day. One show lasts for 30 minutes. Ticket price is 50 rupees for general and 30 rupees for students. Good for little ones.
