The view at sunset on the river is very nice. The road too is beautiful when seen from the overbridge connected the 2 parts of the park at dusk. Nice place for morning walk when entry is free.

River Side Park on the bank of Brahmaputra in Guwahati is a beautiful place, though a lot improvement can be done.
First of all, it's position is excellent. Just by the main road, it is very easily approachable. Secondly, it's very position by the mighty river is awesome.
Thirdly, the view of the mighty Brahmaputra with it's blue water with white sand on the bank presents a magnificent picture.
But the most important point is the powerful statue of the great Assamese general and Mughal-destroyer Lachit Barphukan. It's just awesome.
Ferry services from this point is an added advantage.
However, the place is not so clean with plastic bottles and rubbish thrown here and there.
I could not find a public toilet, and that is essential for visitors.
Finally, few benches should be placed at places beyond the reach of the water.

The most beautiful place ever. Nature is everything. Naturals beauty is extremely beautiful and tasty.
Greenery is the plants, herbs, shrubs, and trees surrounding us. However, with the growing population and urbanization, this greenery is getting depleted, and cities are getting transformed into concrete jungles.
